Extra Life Game Day 2022

This year on Saturday November 5^th it was Extra Life Game Day! People from all around the country participated in a multitude of games throughout the day to raise money for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s hospital. Every dollar raised on Game Day and every day, goes directly to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Gamers from all around the country competed in a variety of games such as live streaming games, board games, card games, and many more. This year in 2022, Extra Lifers raised over $3 million dollars collectively on Game Day! The continued support to raise these funds for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital is outstanding.

~Highlights from Game Day 2022~

Zagarose (pictured) has phenomenal energy and a personal connection to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. One of the games she played (Stream Raiders) even created a custom skin for her son Angelus who receives care at University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Zagarose expressed how grateful she is to be apart of Extra Life and to be able to play games and support her son and all of the other kiddos who receive care at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
