Walmart Launches CMN Fundraising Campaign 

We are excited to announce the start of Walmart and Sam’s Club’s annual CMN fundraising campaign to support University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children’s Hospital! From June 9 to July 6, Walmart stores across the country will be raising money to help provide essential medical care and services to children in need. The Cedar Rapids Walmart/Sam’s Club Market, consisting of 77 locations in Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, and Missouri, has set a fundraising goal of $1 million for the hospital. 

How You Can Help 

During this campaign, customers can contribute by rounding up their purchases at the register. Every cent counts and goes directly to supporting the vital work of children’s hospitals in our communities. 

Fun In-Store Fundraisers 

Many Walmart/Sam’s Club stores will host fun in-store fundraisers, including selling popcorn, sno cones, cotton candy, and rubber ducks. These activities provide a fun shopping experience and contribute to a great cause. 

Community Events 

Walmart/Sam’s Club will also organize community events such as car shows, golf tournaments, softball tournaments, and volleyball tournaments. These events offer a wonderful opportunity to have fun, connect with others, and support children’s hospitals.
