THANK YOU, Walmart & Sam’s Club!

University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children’s Hospital is excited to share the successful outcome of the recent Walmart and Sam’s Club Children’s Miracle Network campaign. Over a span of four weeks in June and July, Walmart and Sam’s Club rallied together for their annual campaign to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide. Through the dedication of Walmart and Sam’s Club associates, customers, and members, over $43 million was raised for member hospitals across North America! 

In Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, and Missouri, 69 Walmart stores, 8 Sam’s Clubs, and 3 Supply Chains collectively raised an impressive $765,974. Every cent of this amount will directly benefit the University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children’s Hospital and the more than 100,000 children we serve each year. This marks a significant 38% increase from the previous year’s efforts in 2023. This achievement is a testament to the hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm of Leaders and Champion Team associates, who engaged with customers, members, and fellow associates to make this possible.
