Thank You KHAK!
It was another phenomenal year for the 27th Annual KHAK Radiothon raising over $148,000! Over two days we heard from so many amazing families who courageously shared their stories with us. There were laughs, tears and an undertone of hope that the funds raised will make a difference in the lives of future patients and families at University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
We want to thank all the families who participated, our wonderful volunteers who manned the phone bank, and the community of listeners that called in to make donations! And of course, we can’t forget our wonderful hosts, Brain and Courtlin and their radio crew, who make it all possible!
We want to say a special Thank You to Corda Credit Union and Van Meter for once again being our top sponsors of the event and sending volunteers to make the day possible!
