Mason City Walmart celebrates Walmart’s $20,000 Club fundraising goal
Despite the challenges 2021 brought, the Mason City Walmart knocked their fundraising efforts out of the park. During the campaign the store raised $17,832 to help kids at University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, but they didn’t stop there. As of December 1st, the store has raised over $21,000 – marking the highest fundraising Walmart for 2021.
We set the goal high for our Walmart stores this year, creating the $20,000 Club. Each Walmart was given the challenge back in May and Mason City was bound and determined they were going to raise the most of any Walmart location in the Cedar Rapids Market.
Our CMN Team celebrated the Mason City Walmart with a pizza party on November 16. The Mason City Walmart is truly making the difference in the lives of patients and families at UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital and their determination to continue supporting our patients and families is unmatched.
