Celebrating Children’s Hospitals Week

From April 7th to 11th, Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) and its 170 member hospitals (including UIHC Stead Family Children’s Hospital) celebrated Children’s Hospitals Week, both through local activations at hospitals and during the annual CMN conference in Orlando, Florida. This special week serves as a time to recognize the amazing partnerships fostered through CMN and to bring member hospitals and partners together to connect, learn, and celebrate their collective impact.

During the conference, our Associate Director Tyler Adams was recognized with the prestigious 2025 Victoria Enmon Award for his remarkable work, creativity, and innovation in transforming the Extra Life Charity Challenge: College Football 25 from concept to reality.

This award honors those who exemplify exceptional dedication and passion in continuing Victoria Enmon’s legacy through the Extra Life gaming program. Victoria Enmon, who inspired the creation of Extra Life, faced acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and the program was established in her memory to support children’s hospitals through gaming.

Tyler received the award during the main session in front of 1300 attendees, presented by Victoria’s family in an incredibly heartfelt moment. Our team is immensely proud to celebrate Tyler’s outstanding achievement!
