It was a Ride of a Life Time!

On Saturday, April 27, over 8,000 riders came together at 160 Life Time Club locations for an epic ride for charity in support of local member hospitals of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the Life Time Foundation, two dedicated organizations that support children’s health. Of those 8,000 riders I was one of them riding for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital at the Life Time location in Urbandale Iowa. Joining me to speak about their journey with Stead Family Children’s Hospital was Will Olsen and his parents. The Olsen journey began 14 years ago when Will was two and was diagnosed with Stage 3 liver cancer also known as hepatoblastoma. It was an incredibly tough journey for over 9 months. He went through 8 rounds of chemo, had multiple surgeries, and post treatment we were informed that medically he should not be here with us. We ride for kids like Will!
