Panda Express Donates PPE to UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital

Our community has shown up in amazing ways to help support the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital and frontline healthcare workers and the Panda Express Restaurant Group and our local Panda Express Restaurants are undoubtably a part of these crucial efforts. On Wednesday June 3, our local Panda Express restaurants delivered 28,000 single-use surgical masks as well as plate coupons to our hospital and hospital employees to show their spirited appreciation and support for all those who have gone above and beyond during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2019, Panda Express associates and guests donated more than $210,000 to help us care for the well-being of children at our hospital. The willingness to continue supporting the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital through the Children’s Miracle Network partnership is very appreciated by patients, families, and hospital staff.
